Co-Ed and Women's Only Basic Pistol
Teaching the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude for owning and operating a pistol safely.

Using Safe Cover, and Firearm Laws
This is an 8-hour course that includes classroom and range time, on the FATS machine or Live Range, learning to shoot. Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; cleaning the pistol; and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the NRA course completion certificate.
We also offer private sessions for individuals.
The Personal Protection in the Home course covers defensive shooting. Self-defense can cover mindset, legal issues, decision-making under pressure, and planning for the worst. The Basic Personal Protection in the Home course is designed around the use of the defensive pistol.
Students will receive intensive lessons on basics of defensive shooting, issues of self-defense, and other strategies for protecting the home and family.

- Firearms and the Law: Possession, Ownership, and the Use of Deadly Force
- Strategies for Home Safety and Responding to a Violent Confrontation

This is an eight-hour course. Students should expect to shoot approximately 100 rounds on the FATS machine and/or live range. Students will learn basic defensive shooting skills; strategies for home safety and responding to a violent confrontation; firearms and the law; how to choose a handgun for self-defense; and continued opportunities for skill development.
NRA Basic Personal Protection In The Home course is for law-abiding adult citizens, as defined by applicable federal, state, or local law, and experienced shooters (shooters able to show mastery of the basic skills of safe gun handling, shooting a group, zeroing the firearm, and cleaning the firearm) to maximize what can be learned from this course.
Advanced Shooting/Concealed Carry Course
This class teaches the methods and tactics needed to survive an armed encounter. Students learn the proper tactics of:
Shooting from Cover and Concealment
Utilizing Cover Properly
Shooting While Moving
Finding a Threat and Maintaining Rounds on Target while Moving to Cover
Proper Draw Techniques
We Offer a variety of Classes;
One of our most popular classes is the Utah Concealed Carry. It is a 37 state concealed carry permit class done in 4 hours that includes fingerprints, photos, a certified application packet, no test required.
Our Basic Pistol Class (Standard and Women's Only) includes 6 hours of class time and 2 hours of range (can be done with the FATS) includes basic teaching on Gun Safety, Marksmanship, portion on Police Encounters and Home Invasion.
Active Shooter incorporates the use of the Simulator and puts the student in real life like shooting situations and involves the use of cover and concealment.
Corporate, School, and Institutional Violence Awareness is a scenario driven class that does not incorporate the use of Firearms, unless requested. It uses scenarios to help facilitate the proper reaction and choices by employees into specific responses.
FATS is also used in our Young Adult instruction, to teach kids safe handling, marksmanship and other gun related training in a safe “No Bullet” environment.
Marksmanship includes drills and completion screens allowing you to compete with yourself and others in a timed and scored environment with a multitude of targets and action.
